Awesome App

Thanks for the fix :D ... I would recommend it to every Judo-Fighter =)

Simple and easy!

Great for unofficial events and scoring. Id love to use this for our tournaments but it needs to be more customizable (multiple ippons possible for our novice tournaments, no auto points for osaekomi, golden score, etc.). Love the simple look and the intuitive interface!

Judo

excellent. does the paid version offer the option to project? our club would be interested if we could project the result.

Awesome

Really good and useful

Awesome app!!

It’s really awesome!! And whats the most important - simple to use.

Very good app

I know french, this is a very nice application.

Its in Japanese, not French

This app is actually in Japanese, the INTERNATIONAL language of the sport of Judo. Judo, unlike other martial arts, is taught in Japanese, no matter which country it is being taught in. I can go to any dojo in the world and teach or (more likely) get taught, and understand what is being said. Using a common language and common rules is the primary reason Judo was the first Olympic martial art. As to what this does, it keeps time and score for a Judo match. Judo is much more popular in the US than many people believe.

Nice to have a judo so!

First, thanks to the writter for doing a judo ap!!! Well done. Good scoring ap. Dont know when Id use it, but fun to have. One issue. If you have wasari, you only need to hold your opponent for 20 seconds. The ap does not reflect that. There are some instances (ie team play) when you would let the clock run to 25 seconds, but thats not the rule. Again, glad to have a judo so! THANKS.

Not bad

Not as good as I thought, but still well

Good app, dont pay attention to the idiots posting.

fun little app. anyone who ACTUALLY does judo will know what everything means, etc. someone pointed out that it should be blue and white instead of red and white. this is probably true. red and white are traditional colors for competitors belts ( to differentiate them ), but most modern competition features blue and white gi. i agree that this probably isnt very useful at a real competition, but if you are doing practice matches at the club, or training people how to ref and score matches, this is a great little app -- and its FREE!

Nice, but needs a few fixes

Reading through the other reviews, there are a couple of non-idiots who make good points. This is a nice app, and might come in handy for score keeping during practices. Despite the nice look and feel, there are a couple of problems. As mentioned below, you are awarded a wazari for holding osekomi for 20 seconds. If you already have a wazari, then the match is over (2 wazaris = ippon). Someone else mentioned that having an ippon counter is kind of useless since a score of 1 ippon automatically means the end of the match. My issue is that the the app has one column for "white" and one for "red". Red? The two colors in judo are white and blue. Maybe blue didnt look as good on the black background, but red just seems odd. Last, while the spin wheels are neat, they tend to spin too much. Itd be better I think if they would increment by one if you just tapped them. Overall, though, nice & free! On félicite pour un travail bien fait.

Very cool but...

A little difficult adding points with the scroll. It would be better if it was just a touch button like 1 koka, 2 kokas, 3 kokas. The osaekomi timer is awesome. Ippon should be easier to manage.great invention... Im glad someone did!

Awsome to see a judo app

According to my calculations this app is very handy. Having the red is not bad because sometimes when u fight u have a red belt on top of ur normal color belt u have.If u dont beleive me watch some Koga judo films (jappenesejudoka).

Needs a update!!!!!

It ok but needs a update fast!!! Koka ant a point any more.

Seattle Dojo uses it

We just used it for the first time for shiai at Seattle Dojo, the first judo dojo in North America, and it was great!

Best way to keep track but...

This need to change points earned from a scrolling to buttons.

very nice

solid app, we use it for randori matches at my club. though the scrolling is a little annoying and the ippon counter rather redundant

Excellent

I have used this App for training table workers and juniors on scoring and as a back-up clock and scorer at national tournaments. Thank you...

Score keeper

I think its a good app, easy to understand and best of its free.

Amazing!

Amazing app. Im using it on iPhone and on iPad. Works great. The only addition would be a Golden Score mode, where when a draw fight ends, it carries the points and shidos to an auto golden score, respecting the time.
